Most inportant is to get rid of your fears inthe first place. I would sticj to the shallow pool in your place. Most pools have a nice and warm small shallow pool next to the big tub. Jerimiah you have a massive amount of work to do. You need to get comfortable in the water, you don't need to float to swim, you should learn to tread water so you can start getting comfortable in deep water. You don't need to be in deep water to learn to swim. Using a snorkel may help you get comf...

Hello. I'm Jerimiah. I've been trying to learn to swim for about 2 years, but my progress has been pretty slow. I've been on Swimmunity, which has a link to here, but it's all but dead. I hope I can have some discussions here that might move me forward in learning to swim.
