Using an ankle band, push off with one arm in front, stroke with that arm but finish with hand on the hip.
Now take a stroke with the other arm and do the same. The default position is with both hands on the hip. This is quite the opposite of normal catch-up where the default position is with both hands touching at the very front.
It is easier to start doing this drill by not breathing at all.
This drill is in tune with nightcrawler's expertise on body balance and is helping me do Unco with an ankle band.

Do you recall Solar,s No Arm Drill? You float on the front with arms by side and with a little help from the feet, you rock about the longitudinal axis.
With Ratchup, your underwater hand/arm action performs the pull and push without the legs dropping. The body rotates in harmony with the hand pressing the water backwards not downwards.
You rock back to neutral and enter the other arm and pull.
