From memory we took our little one in not long after his jabs roughly 6-8 months old if that's what you mean

My mum dip me into the water wjen i was 40 days.
Once something goes into motion, it stays in motion, the process itself feeds the fire!

Haha, sounds like you might be the Turkish Achilles, Nightcrawler! ;)

We took our son to "little dippers" when he was a baby. Babies will instinctively hold their breath underwater, though they lose this reflex as they get older. Unfortunately we had to stop going because he was getting too many ear infections (I don't think the pool was very clean). He was about 3 or 4 when he started proper swimming lessons.
