I have a triathlete who has just suffered an immense crash in a mountain bike race in France. He has broken a leg very badly and has have to have it pinned and screwed (He was only 8 minutes from the finish )
What he wishes to do whilst on recover is some core group exercises but is unable to use a Swiss ball encase he upsets the pinning.
Any ideas on work that he can undertake without damaging the leg?

Your athlete is going to be restricted to low dynamic range exercises and would be well advised to book the assistance of a local physiotherapist who is qualified to teach pilates and specifically mat work.
