Workout

Postby swimmer2018 » Sat Aug 31, 2013 12:34 am

I am a 12 year old female. I'm definitely more of a sprinter. Do any of you know what type of workout is best for a sprinter? I'm on a team that seems to focus more on distance swimming. I'm trying to determine if I am on the right team. 50 Free 26.8 100 Free 57 200Free 2:09 500Free 5:56 50Back 29.60 100 Back 1:04 200 Back 2:19 50 Fly 28 100 Fly 1:02 200 Fly 2:34

Hi

Best to talk to your coach about this. If they are focusing more on distance racing and that's not what you want to do then it's best to find the right team for you. There are probably other coaches in your club that would be a better fit.

Good luck and happy sprinting :D

Being a sprinter you have lean and flexible body. Do the exercise which helps to gain flexibility. Yoga stretching, aerobics can be beneficial for you. I prefer to join a good gym to do this exercise.
